Made to be durable and somewhat resistant to elements. Condition is between excellent to very good condition. 8.5 to 9 out of 10 rating. Leather and cork footbed is still pristine and unformed, like new. Maybe wore the boots a dozen times. But there is some wear on heels' edge. (Rubber edge on heels are made so that they can be replaced.)

Alden Of San Francisco , Plain Toe Mens Size 10D Tobacco Chamois Boots 45182H. So here is the story behind these. I purchased these from someone who advertised them as size 11. The seller was reading the wrong number. They are in fact 10D and I missed the return window. If these boots were a size 11, they would have a permanent place in my collection. The leather on these is just out of this world. It is tobacco chamois and feels like reverse Shell Cordovan and if you have ever felt that it is incredible to the touch, almost a velvety feel. I love these boots! Currently looking for size 11 for my collection. Thanks
