The Good year rubber heal caps that are currently on do not line up with the leather heel block. They can be replaced by your local cobbler for relatively cheap. I'm selling a pair of Alden Pitt Boots in Horween natural chromexcel in size 8. I bought these boots from Leather Soul in Beverly Hills more than 10 years ago; here's the original listing: https://leathersoul.com/2011/06/28/alden-shoes-cxl-pitt-boots-lsw-lsbh/. I wore them for a few years and then got them resoled at B. Nelson shoes in New York City in the summer of 2015. They've been sitting in my closet since then without being worn. These boots are being sold as shown in the photos, including without the original shoebox and without laces -- but with the Leather Soul shoe trees!
