Typically, Alden, one of the last great shoe manufacturers still building shoes in the USA, makes its PTB on the Barrie last, making for a rounded, full toe. This version is different - it is made on Alden's plaza last, which is a more elongated soft square toe. The plaza last makes for a more refined, elegant and dressy silouette that is the ultimate in versatility: it can be worn with suits, sport coat and slacks as well as jeans, chinos and other casual pants. These boots are made in Alden's famous burgundy color 8 Cordovan leather made by the famous and highly-regarded Horween Leather Company in Chicago, IL. These boots are new, in the box.
