I picked these up from Japan. They will be shipped in original Japanese Alden box labelled ”Tobacco” (translation of ”Cigar”). The patina on these is unique, as you can see in the photos. They lighten up to nearly a #8 color near the toes. Photos included are indoors and outdoors. They are model 460020c, from Blue Blue Japan store. Very rare, especially in the U.S. Per the box, you can see the original pricing was ~$940.The commando soles in good condition. These are well-used with beautiful rolls, but in good shape. Please be aware that the rolls are typical of well-used shell, and that these are not new boots. Know your last sizing in Alden, as there are no returns for sizing or expectation of new boots. 379x fits me more snugly in the heel than Trubalance, but with more room up front. Otherwise, I take the same size in the two. The 379x is also known as ”military” last, and it's basically modeled after the army Munson last, so it's very forgiving.
