COLLECTOR'S ITEM: Brooks Brothers tassel loafers made by Alden, burgundy calfskin, USA men's size 10.5D.  Superb condition: little worn, and lovingly cared for with Saphir products. Made in Middleborough, Massachusetts, for Brooks by Alden. Brooks ended its longtime contract with Alden of New England in 2019, so these are no longer manufactured. They have the distinctive "foxing" (raised stitching) around the heels which Alden put on its BB-contract version of these shoes as a unique touch to show they came from The Brothers. OUTSOLE DIMENSIONS (taken w/ soft tape measure): 12.25" from front edge of toe to back edge of heel 4.25" across widest part of sole (ball of foot) 3 1/8" across heel Alden's nearest version of this shoe, the model 663, currently retails for $708.00--it has a strip heel counter instead of the foxing: https://www.aldenshop.com/products/663-tassel-moccasin-loafer-burgundy-calf Shipped in a USPS Priority Mail shoebox.  NOTE: Brooks Bros. currently sells a tassel loafer w/ heel foxing. Alden 663 for Brooks Brothers 5109 Men's Burgundy Tassel Loafers 11 D Alden was the primary manufacturer for the Brooks Brothers Label. These are Alden Model 663  Loafers that BB labeled as their Model 5109. Heels and soles have 85-90% life remaining. Shows minor scuffing and creasing. All signs of wear are shown in photos. Well cared for with Alden conditioners and polish, always stored on shoe trees. I offer multiple high-quality photos for the buyer's inspection.
