These boots are vintage to 1975 or 1985, ascertained by a date code that indicates the shoes were manufactured in a year ending in ””5””, paired with Alden's ””4A”” logo type first used by Alden in the manner shown on the shoes in the early 1970s. The kidskin leather uppers are in excellent condition with a soft temper, remaining very pliable and flexible free of any cracking, rips, tears, or other signs of poor aging. Presented in good pre-owned condition with some creasing present at the vamps and shafts, normal for kidskin leather. Cosmetically, the boots are in good condition light scuffing at the toe and faint surface scuffing at the back heel area. The original soles show surface wear but remain firm to the press with about 50% of their original life remaining, the heels show some edge wear but remain in good condition.
