Hello, I'm selling a pre-owned men's pair of black cap toe lace-up boots made by Alden of New England. These boots lace all the way up, partway with eyelets, followed by open hooks up along the ankle. They also have a well-constructed top cap set off by a decorative stripe. The rest of the upper part of the boot is nice, soft leather. Overall these boots have high quality construction and make a great cool weather addition to your collection! CONDITION:Overall, these boots have moderate signs of wear. The right boot has a small scratch (less than .25”) and a couple of scuffs on the inside ankle (see picture #6). The toes on this boot also have a couple of scratches (see pictures #2 & 4). The toe of the left boot is in better shape but also has a small scratch which you can see in picture #2. Other than these imperfections, the rest of the leather is in good condition. The insoles show very little wear; all writing is clearly visible, for example. The soles of the boots have little wear as well and still feel quite sturdy, although the right sole feels slightly more worn than the left one. The rubber heels of the boots have been well-constructed. These show very little wear. It is unlikely that anything on the bottom of the shoe would need immediate replacement. SIZING NOTE:Although men's shoe sizes are generally consistent, sometimes sizes do not match actual measurements. I provide both the labeled shoe size and actual measurements that I take myself.
