This is a rare Alden shoe in brown chromexcel. It's a Modified Last shoe from Moulded Shoe, #58806. The modified last is an uncommon Alden last - and my favorite fit by far. It's narrow in the heel with a high instep, and wide in the forefoot to let your toes spread out.  They run large-ish - I'm an 12 in most shoes but an 11 in these. The leather is Horween CXL - a soft leather that takes on a beautiful patina over time. These have a light-to-moderate amount of wear - enough to have developed some character, but they have many many miles to go. I've included pictures with dark brown and light brown laces - I'll include both. Will ship these with an Alden box, but no shoe trees. These shoes retail for $685.
