Alden 6243 Snuff Suede LHS / Penny Loafer

This is a great pair of Alden Unlined Leisure Handsewn Penny Loafers - Suff Suede - Size 9D (retails at $700). The shoes are in excellent used condition with plenty of wear left in them. I am selling simply because the sizing has never been quite right on this particular pair for me. Otherwise, these are great shoes with no flaws other than the very minimal wear pictured. ALDEN 6243-F LHS Loafers.  Brown Suede, classic Alden loafer design - still solid and strong.  Size 11 B/D - classic medium width.  But, don't buy these because they are pristine...but these because they are full of character and patina!  Examine pictures closely for details. Plenty of miles left, and solid for sure, but showing wear on the uppers. Very cool, but not museum pieces.  We're $700+ new, and are still very desirable!  If you think it's cool to knock around on Saturday in Ivy Trad Prep suede loafers and not worry about the weather or how much they cost, this is the pair for you!  We are antiques dealers in the Virginia Piedmont - Charlottesville and environs. We are proud of our eBay rating, and regret two recent disappointing experiences with buyers that resulted in negative ratings we believe were not deserved.  The first was truly our mistake - we shipped the wrong item, only the second time in over 20 years. We did everything in our power to resolve this, including inviting the buyer to keep the item for free. We are sorry.  The second was another story - a buyer claimed we delayed shipment of his package and accused us of all sorts of unsavory things, in spite of the fact we had immaculate communication and documentation with him. Turns out it was a USPS data system error in tracking. Yet, he remains non responsive and did not retract his harsh criticism.    Without these two, we are 100% for many, many years! 

shoe trees not included

alden x unionmade 6243 snuff suede loafer size 10.5 D made in the USA. Purchased years ago while I was living in SF. Not sure what last these are on but I normally wear a size 11 and these were a little big on me at a 10.5. Aldens in genera run about a size big. Unfortunately the shoe trees don’t come with them (it brings up the shipping cost), they were store with shoes trees the entire time.

Alden Unlined Penny Loafer in Snuff Suede. Worn about half a dozen times. They are 11 in E width and have topo soles installed to last longer. Built on the Van Last model 6243. They are in really good condition and have the Pedag Holiday insole. Cost $600 new and never go on sale. Shipped with UPS. PayPal only.
