Vintage 1980s Alden Model 660 Black Calfskin Tassel Moccasin Loafers Classic Alden black calfskin tassel loafers, Model 660, purchased new by me from Dunham's of Maine in Portland, Maine, circa 1984–1985. I am the original owner. These were worn only occasionally over the past approximately 40 years—primarily for weddings, funerals and other dress occasions—and have spent most of their life stored. Details: Alden Model 660; men's size 10; A/C combination width; black calfskin; Aberdeen last; original-style leather sole construction; Goodyear welted; made in USA. One shoe carries the Alden interior logo and the other the Dunham's of Maine retailer stamp. The shoes are in very good vintage pre-owned condition for their age. The uppers retain good shape and finish, with normal light creasing and wear from occasional use. The leather soles and heels show wear consistent with use; please see photographs. Please note: the right shoe has several small raised surface marks/spots on the upper leather, shown clearly in the close-up photographs. These are not present to the same extent on the other shoe. I have made no attempt to remove or conceal them. There is also normal age and wear to the interior lining and tassel edges consistent with vintage shoes of this age. No original box.
