Vintage Alden 663 tassel loafers in burgundy calf leather, size 8.5E on the Aberdeen last. Made in the USA. These are vintage Alden shoes dating to ~ the 1980s, with the vintage Alden Made in USA branding and construction details. They are Goodyear welted and have been professionally resoled. The current leather outsoles have substantial remaining wear life and are fitted with Vibram rubber heels. The uppers remain in very good condition for their age, with normal creasing and minor surface wear. The burgundy leather has developed an attractive variation in tone and patina consistent with age and use. Tassels, stitching, welt and uppers are intact and healthy. There is some interior wear to the leather lining, primarily in the heel area, consistent with the age and previous use of the shoes. Please see all photographs for condition details.
