Alden 683 Burgundy Calfskin Full Strap Loafer

Handsome Alden “Parisian” penny loafers in a rich oxblood leather. Made in the USA with genuine leather insoles and classic Goodyear-welt construction, these are a timeless pair you can dress up or down. Handcrafted in Middleborough, Massachusetts since 1884, Alden is one of the last great American shoemakers. Every pair is hand-lasted, hand-welted and built to be worn for decades. Insole length: 11" Outsole length: 11.5" Outsole width: 4" Heel height: just under 1" CONDITION: Very good pre-owned condition with light overall wear. Uppers show mild creasing from normal use. Leather soles show wear but still have life, with Vibram heel caps in good shape and some wear at the outer edges. One cosmetic flaw on the outside of the left shoe where the leather has a surface crack near the welt (see close-up photo). Interior shows typical wear but no major damage. Clean and ready to wear. FIT NOTES : Marked men’s US 8.5 B/D, Alden’s standard width. As a unisex style, they translate to roughly a women’s US 10.5 with an average or slightly wider foot. They will be too roomy for someone with a very narrow foot, so please go by measurements and your own shoe size for best fit. Styling ideas Perfect with cuffed chinos, denim, or tailored trousers; also great with socks and a skirt for a preppy, androgynous look.

Offered are a pair of Alden Loafers in Burgundy size 10 B. Alden size is 10 AA/B which is B width.. Aberdeen Last that is true to size. These shoes are handcrafted in the USA of the finest materials.  Full leather lining and soles. They feature a Goodyear welt that will mould to your feet as you wear them resulting in a very comfortable foot bed match to your individual feet. They are unworn.  Souls are not marked.   Shoes are clean - marks on the shoes are dust - this is Tucson and due to low humidity it is dusty.   Note that I have owned them a few years.  Always stored in the box in a dark closet. In excellent used condition. Light cosmetic wear. Size 11 B (Narrow). Heel is AA. Trees and dust bags included. Returns for sizing are allowed. If you know shoes, you know that Alden shoes are the best. Please take a look at the pictures. The right heel area has a tear and the stiching is loose. There are a few deep wrinkles in the leather near the toe area. Again, please look at the pictures.  There's also a little sticker residue near the heels ... look at the pictures.  Also be aware that because of the steel shank in these shoes, you'll set off every metal detector in every airport if you try to wear them through.
