Up for grabs are these gorgeous, gently used Alden full strap penny loafers in burgundy calf. Sized 10.5 A/C in the Alden Aberdeen last, these are long, lean, and high-quality loafers that will carry you from the boardroom to the bar (and beyond) for years to come. All the classic Alden details are here, including select calfskin uppers, dovetailed heels, full glove leather lining, goodyear welted oak-tanned leather soles, cork filling, tempered steel shank, and more. The only way to get a better full strap loafer is to pay double and get them in cordovan. Truly, a BIFL-worthy purchase. Good used condition - no cracks or noticeable leather imperfections to my eye, great glossy shine (thanks, Saphir! You can see reflections in the photos), some wear to the soles but they appear to be original or direct from Alden (notice Alden logo). Love these and would keep if they fit. Unfortunately, even though I’m a 10.5 AC in the Alden Leisure Hand Sewn (LHS) loafers on the Van last - these 10.5 AC Alden Full Strap loafers on the Aberdeen last are a half-size too small. A sorry catch and release for me. My loss is your gain!
