You are bidding on this pair of Alden 684 Full Strap Slip-On Penny Loafer Brown Horween Shell Cordovan US 11 B/D. They are Pre-Owned in Great used condition with some light marks on the leather, some light wear on the back heals and could use a good buffing as seen in the pictures. They are brown leather with the penny strap on the front with the ALDEN logo on the inside and bottom of the leather soles. They measure 11.1/4” inside front to back, 12.1/2” outside front to back, 4.1/4” width, 1” heal and weigh 2.22 lbs. Sorry, I don't have the box or dust covers. Email me with any questions. Factory seconds Alden full strap loafer, model 684 is size 8.5 D US standard width. Purchased in early April 2025, only worn indoors as seen on photos of leather outsoles with minimal marking from interior wood floors. This pair has the following blemishes, which I believe are what qualified these to be factory seconds: (1) Cordovan creasing at the top of both heel areas, above the foxing (2) Small water marks at the base of one of the full straps (3) Rough shell cordovan texture and slight discoloring, on the left shoe's toe box area (4) Glue overrun on the interior insole. I cleaned the glue off via dabbing with a wet (water) cloth The cordovan ripples around both toe boxes are the result of me wearing these around home for hours at a time, for extended fit testing. Ships in white original Alden factory seconds box specific to this pair, no shoe trees. Reason for selling: toe box and instep around the full strap area is too tight for me. Length is perfect, however, for heel to ball distance and positioning of shoe's innate arch support. My sizing for other shoes - in case it's helpful for potential buyers: Alden 9D in Aberdeen lace-ups and monk strap Alden 8.5D or 8.5E in Aberdeen tassel loafers. Instep and toebox fit on tassels is more forgiving compared to the tight full-strap 684 Alden 8.5D in TrueBalance Alden 8.5E in Van loafer (but with heel slip. in hindsight, I should've gotten 8.5D) Allen Edmonds 10D in most models. But extremely uncomfortable in boots, due to low instep on most AE's lasts Carmina 9 in rain monk (very uncomfortable at instep) Carmina 8.5 in soler boot, xim loafer Crockett Jones private label Peal Co oxfords: 9.5 US Gaziano Girling 9 UK in MH71 last monk strap (tight) Saint Crispin's 9G (wide) in classic last oxford.
