Alden x Blackbird 73034 Ranger Moc in Tobacco Reverse Chamois, size 10D. Special makeup produced for Blackbird, the former Seattle menswear retailer, circa 2010. The collaboration was originally featured by Hypebeast as the “Alden for BLACKBIRD Reversed Chamois Ranger Moc.” I’ve included a screenshot of the contemporary article for reference. These are well-worn and show some minor damage in spots, including wear and variation to the reverse chamois uppers, scuffing and wear around the edges, and wear to the leather soles and heels. The reverse chamois has developed variation in color and texture with wear. Please review all photos closely for condition. Includes the original Alden box with Blackbird retailer label and Alden-branded cedar shoe trees. Made in USA.

Alden Ranger Mocc 73034 From Alden SF, Size 9 C/E. These are a unique make of Alden Ranger Mocc which I purchased from Alden San Francisco. They are Alden size 9 E, which is wider than the normal D width. Similar to the Indy Oxford shoe, these are well made shoes that are extremely durable. They feature a 360 degree welt that helps keep rain out and the uppers are suede that has been treated with an oil by Alden to make them water resistant. The sole is also the Alden water-lock, which is more water resistant than the normal leather. So the overall shoe is meant for wetter conditions in the Fall/Winter where it is going to be important that your shoes can deal with rain and muck on your commute.
