Vintage Alden for Brooks Brothers Oxblood Calfskin Tassel Loafers 8.5D USA

The tassel loafer is a classic of trad footwear, and it could be argued that nobody does a better version than Alden. Made in the USA from dark brown/oxblood calfskin with goodyear welted leather soles and moccasin style toe construction, these loafers were originally sold as Brooks Brothers' in house line. In good vintage condition, no damage to the leather and plenty of mileage left on the soles (especially given the added heel topies) before a resole is warranted. Signs of wear throughout, there is some water staining on the toes and mild wear to the edges of the heel areas - see photos. Marked a size US 8.5D.

Nice pair of men's 12 D Brooks Bros 771 tassel loafers made by Alden. These great loafers have a mellow brown polished patina showing some signs of wear. The soles and heels show minimal wear overall. Great American made shoes for dress or casual wear. These come from a smoke-free home and the shoe trees are not included.
