The original Brooks Brothers branding can be read on the soles just above the heel. These shoes are made in Horween natural chromexcel, a leather Alden no longer uses to make shoes or boots. These shoes show creasing at the vamps and have several discolorations to the leather including under the tassels at the right vamp and lighter discoloration at the side of the right shoe. There are a number of surface marks and scuffs at the back heel area of both shoes. The soles are in good condition with about 85% of their original life remaining. The heels show very light edge wear to the rubber part of the toplift.
