Understated New England styling with no or minimal ornamentation. Black on black on black! Black welt and sole edge stain. All-season commando outsoles. Shell cordovan shoes and boots do not require metal reinforcement, this allows Alden to offer this stunning ”lace on leather” eyelets design on the shell cordovan shoes and boots. They're incredible. Originally purchased from Alden of Carmel before I decided that Trubalance doesn't really work for me. This model is discontinued and as far as I know this make up is not currently offered anywhere, because more exotic colours are more in demand than black cordovan... which in my opinion this is a mistake because these shoes are simply stunning. Anyway, this is your chance to get them. - Always kept in shoe trees and in their box. Minor scuffs from normal wear. These shoes have plenty of life before you decide to send them in for a resole. I did not attempt to reduce the rolls in the leather but you certainly could. - Ships with the original Alden box and their shoe bags.
