Alden Black Indy-Style Moc-Toe Ankle Boot FD-86985HC - Nice used condition 9.5 9-1/2 10 B/D.. Used but in nice condition .. no tears / scratches, no popped threads, no significant creasing.. Size is 9.5 B/D on the Barrie Last, fits like a 10D.. Commando sole showing only moderate wear.. These boots are a less substantial and lighter version of the Indy boot that is on the TruBalance Last.. Note that the tongues have a slit added to them that acts as a locator for the boot laces.. $15 s h.. A rare, limited pair of Alden Indy boots in black calfskin leather. Similar models have white moc toe stitching, whereas this one has black stitching throughout, from the factory. Model # is 86985HC and would most resemble the 405 models that Alden makes. They will come with the bottle of Alden Leather Defender (pictured). About 80% full. You can see the heel is somewhat worn, but as it's a thick rubber top lift, it still has plenty of life before needing to be replaced. The gray Alden-stamped sock liner inside the heel section was replaced, which is why the new set that Alden sent aren't a perfect fit inside of the boot. Just aesthetic when looking inside of the boot, no functional difference. No original box, they will come in an Alden box for a different pair of boots. Sizing:As the boot is on the TruBalance last, most people prefer to size half a size down from their brannock sizing. For instance, my brannock size is 9.5D and I wear most Red Wing Heritage boots and Wolverine 1000 Miles in 9D, like this pair of Aldens. Pretty much every sneaker I've worn is size 9.5, with the exception of Chuck 70s at size 9. Please know you size, as I can't accept a return. Hopefully this info is helpful! Really only selling to make up for other impulsive boot purchases I recently made, and to cut down on how many boots I own. Otherwise I would have liked to keep them because of their rarity.
