Alden 908 Burgundy Calfskin Medallion Tip Bal

A pair of burgundy calfskin oxfords from Alden.  These are Alden's model 908, handmade in the United States and featuring a sleek profile with a medallion brogued captoe design anchored by goodyear welted leather soles.  The footbed stamps indicate that these shoes were originally sold by Sherman Brothers, a long running Philadelphia store. In great preowned condition, with no staining or noteworthy damage to the exterior and mild evidence of prior wear like light creasing, wear to the soles, and a couple of small gouges on the toes - see photos.  Stamped a men's size 9.5 A/C, indicating a narrow width.
