Alden 924 Black Calfskin Norwegian Front Blucher

Description: Classic Alden long wingtip balmoral oxfords, handcrafted in the USA. A true heritage piece from one of America’s last great shoemakers, featuring full brogue detailing, a stunning burnished tan/walnut calfskin upper, and Goodyear welt construction with leather soles. The rich patina on these is exactly what Alden collectors look for — depth of color you can’t get from a new pair. Perfect with flannel trousers, tweed, or denim for that classic Ivy/trad look. Comparable in quality to Allen Edmonds, Crockett & Jones, and Edward Green. Pre-owned in good vintage condition. Uppers show moderate creasing and light scuffs consistent with age. Heels show notable edge wear and will benefit from a re-heel down the road — priced accordingly. Soles show wear but have life remaining. Small nick to the topline binding on one shoe. These are in fair to good shape, but there are several minor issues present. There's creasing in the toe box as expected, but the creasing on the sides has resulted in some flaking which I tried to present in a few photos. The bottoms are also quite worn, especially on the rubber heels which are angled by how worn they've become. There's also a small hole in the middle of the bottoms of the left shoe. Please review the photos.
