Alden 96288 Color 8 Shell Cordovan LHS / Penny Loafer

Rare plated Alden 96288 color 8 Horween burgundy shell cordovan penny loafers in 11.5D on the Alden Leydon last. These were $994 new. Made in the USA, very high quality shoes. As I understand, the 96288 is a rare makeup for a few specific shops (I only know of Alden Madison and Sherman Brothers). These were made specifically for Sherman Brothers as seen on the insole. Selling simply because I don’t fit them well enough to keep wearing them. They have not been worn excessively as you can see from the outsoles. The metal toe plates are designed to slow down toe wear - it was ~$100 just for plates and installation. Reach out with any questions, happy to answer.
