For sale are a pair of classic Alden Model 967 size 11 D black dress shoes in mint (close to New) condition. Included are an extra pair (qty-2) of 27-inch waxed laces, the original two cotton shoe bags, and the original Alden shoe box.  These shoes were stored in cedar shoe trees, however the shoe trees are not included. These shoes were stored properly in a clean, smoke-free, pet-free home, so the shoes have a like new leather/cedar smell on the inside.  These are perforated Wing Tip style oxford dress shoes crafted using a Goodyear Welt construction on the Aberdeen Last with Calfskin on the upper leather, along with leather insole and outer soles.  The upper interior glove leather lining is incredibly soft, comfortable, and breathable. They are made in the USA and feature a heavy single oak leather outsole and are built with a tempered steel shank under the arch of the foot for superior support and comfort throughout the day.  Beneath the insole is a layer of natural cork, providing additional resilience and insulation.  The heavy, vegetable tanned leather insole will assume the contours of your foot after prolonged use giving it a truly custom quality fit.I bought these in 2014 to wear to my wedding.  I am selling these outstanding dress shoes because I am not wearing them as my job and lifestyle do not require them.  These shoes have been worn 2-3 times, a couple of which were for weddings, as is clearly evidenced by the very minimal wear seen in the pictures.  The leather quality is very good and supple with no surface defects or obvious damage on the uppers.  There is negligible wear on the heal and sole as the original black pain is mostly intact.  These shoes are ready to be molded to a new owners foot as I did not wear them enough to alter the leather upper or insole shape.  They are the perfect addition for a man looking for a classic dress shoe to look his best for both formal and informal occasions.  These quality shoes were meant to be worn more than once every five years.These shoes are offered well below the $698 retail price on Alden’s website.  All sales are final, and therefore no returns are allowed.Please message me if you have any questions or if you would like some additional pictures of these beautiful shoes!
