Alden 97581 Color 8 Shell Cordovan Long Wing Blucher

Alden for Leffot 975 Shell Cordovan Longwings! These beautiful shoes were made by Alden of New England for Leffot, and are currently sold out in this size. They're on the Barrie last (which runs a bit big, Leffot recommends sizing down half a size- do your research on this last and how it fits!) and feature Horween shell cordovan leather, split reverse welts, and double leather soles. The shell cordovan is color number 8- a rich burgundy that shines in varied hues depending on the lighting. As you can see, they appear to have been worn only a handful of times at best. When the gold foil imprint on the insole is still like new, you know they haven't been worn much. The soles are firm and show little actual wear, and the stitching is intact. Heels are still nice and square, no uneven wear from someone else's walking pattern. Uppers show light wear, with the usual swirl marks, dings, and rolls you'd expect from a worn pair of shoes. I've highlighted a tiny mark on the outside of the right shoe under the ankle area that's lost some pigment- I can't find my cordovan polish or I would have touched that up myself, that's all it needs. As shown in the photos, these have the gorgeous characteristic rolls that shell gets instead of creases. Edges of soles are crisp and clean. Shoe trees shown in photos are for illustrative purposes only and are not included. Original box is also not included.
