Alden 97653 Brown Calfskin Long Wing Blucher

Up for auction is a pair of Alden Long Wing Blucher Brogues No 09 Mahogany UK 9. I originally bought these in End, Newcastle about 10 year ago and have worn them on occasion quite a few times. In this time I’ve really looked after them.. they’ve never been soaked or caught in the rain, I’ve cleaned them after every wear and religiously kept them on shoe trees in a closed shoe storer. This is a very reluctant sale but I’ve finally admitted to myself that they are slightly to small, I’m normally a 9.5 but this wasn’t an option when I bought them. They’re good to go but they could do with a re heeling then later down the line a full resole but I recon there’s still a good year or so especially if just worn on occasions. Im not 100% on what the leather is but they’re definitely not shell cordovan, they were way out of my price range and even these were a stretch at £395. I’ve owned quite a few pairs of so called hand made brogues but nothing comes close to these in terms of quality and build. Please note that he shoe trees are not included in the auction.
