These loafers show a number of light surface marks and scuffs at the toes and back heel area of both shoes. The footbeds are in good condition and are not heavily imprinted. There is some darkening to the heel area of the lining, but no holes or damage. The original soles are in good condition and firm to the press with about 80% of their originl life remaining with some toe drag showing at the tips of the soles. The waist of both soles are heavily marked in sharpie. The original heels are in excellent condition with very light wear to the rubber part of the toplift only. For sale is pre-owned pair of Alden 983 Burnished Tan Calfskin Handsewn Penny Loafers. Mens size 10. Please review pictures and condition statement as there are some areas of darkened leather due to prior use. Sorry, but shoe trees are not included. Overall, high quality shoe in good, pre-owned condition. 517

Alden 983 leisure loafers in size 12 B/D in tan leather.  I was cutting the grass with these loafers (not a good Idea) and tossed them off when I was riding my mower. The left shoe slid off the deck and was clipped by one of the mower blades. The damage is to the left shoe only and can be can be seen in the pictures. Both shoes show a worn patina, and the right shoe is still in pretty good shape. Please check out the pictures carefully and ask any questions before bidding.  Shipping is $18.40 Hopefully, someone may be able to rescue these loafers, so they can be worn.
