These shoes have a red coloration, much lighter than the standard color #8 shell cordovan of most Alden shoes. This may be the result of sun fading. The front of the left toe is much darker than the surrounding area and may be a stain or an unfaded section. The original soles show wear but remain firm to the press with about 50% of their original life remaining. The left heel has only a very thin amount of rubber remaining before wearing into the heel stack, the right heel in in better condition. For your consideration a used pair of Alden half strap penny loafers. Resoled leather outsole and leather heel pad but is due for another resole. Leisure hand sewn uppers sewn by hand. Made on a single leather outsole, flat welt, black edge trim, and matching welt stitching. Rubber topy applied to outsole to prevent premature wear. Lined with leather. Made from Horween color 8 shell cordovan. Shaped over the Van last tagged a size US 9.5, D width.  Outsole Measurements: 12 7/16 x 4 3/8" Price includes USPS priority mail shipping and tracking.
