ALDEN Shell cordovan plain toe bluchers Purchased from Shoemart as factory seconds and has a letter R marked on the bottom sole. I’ve owned many Aldens in the past and honestly can’t see any flaws on these. My guess is maybe the bottom outsole stitching is not perfectly clean. If more photos are needed, let me know. 990 Plain Toe Blucher (Color 8 Shell Cordovan) 9 1/2 US Mens size 43.5 EU size. (Equivalent EU and UK sizes are from Alden’s sizing chart. See photo.) Note that Alden’s US sizing is different than most shoes. (These shoes fit closer to a 10.5 in most of my other shoes) Used well-maintained pair in very good condition. Recently cleaned and polished. See photos for condition details. Cordovan leather upper has light wear, including small scratches, rubbing and minor bends. Bottom of sole has typical wear, but should have plenty of use before it requires resoling. Comes with original cedar shoehorns and shoe bags. Bags have light staining.
