Alden 990C Color 8 Shell Cordovan Plain Toe Blucher

Brand new with box Alden Factory Seconds Plain Toe Blucher 990C size 8E (Barrie last) in beautiful Color 8 Shell Cordovan on Alden's Commando Sole. Gorgeous shoes, but after trying them on several times, the sizing's not quite right for me. I'm not sure what makes these factory seconds other than some minimal creasing as seen in photos. These have never been worn outside my home; they've only been tried on on carpet.

This pair isn't new or perfect, but the shell cordovan uppers are in solid shape as you can see. I bought this pair on Ebay and sent them in to Alden factory myself for their restoration service, and had the Commando Soles put on, very enjoyable to wear. The factory installed soles and heels have a lot of life left. Barrie last. The ”C/E” is too faded to read, but you can see they are size 12. Selling a pair of Alden Plain Toe Bluchers in Color #8 Horween Shell Cordovan with commando rubber soles. Size 9.5 B/D. Barrie Last (please know your size on Barrie Last - typically .5 to 1 size larger, though this varies - as I don't accept returns). Condition is used with scuffs throughout, some are particularly pronounced on the instep and toe box (haven't tried to buff these lately, so that could help some). Rubber commando soles are in good shape. Note that these also have tongue pads in for a slightly more secure fit (I add these to all my Alden Barrie Last shoes to improve fit).
