Alden Cordovan Plain Toe Blucher Color 8 Shell 990C Size 9D. Retail $858 These Color 8 Cordovan beauties have been worn outside a couple of times and are basically in mint condition, don't quite fit me. These were purchased from Alden San Francisco and are the dressier look welt (not the antique welt) and with the commando sole. A unique make-up that's hard to find (most of the commando sole PTB's also have an antique welt, see Brick+mortar), great for winter and inclemenet weather. Look at all photos closely, these are only about a year old and are just starting to form their rolls, but very little wear otherwise. Shipped with original box and shoe bags. Brand new with box Alden Factory Seconds Plain Toe Blucher 990C size 8E (Barrie last) in beautiful Color 8 Shell Cordovan on Alden's Commando Sole. Gorgeous shoes, but after trying them on several times, the sizing's not quite right for me. I'm not sure what makes these factory seconds other than some minimal creasing as seen in photos. These have never been worn outside my home; they've only been tried on on carpet.
