Alden 99241 Brown Calfskin and Navy Suede Saddle Shoe

Alden for Leather Soul Chestnut Navy suede Saddle Shoe 99241 Men’s 11E These are from my personal collection, and I am the original owner. I purchased these from Leather Soul around ‘09-‘10 or so, special ordered in E width (wide). Chestnut calf leather (pretty sure), navy suede, single waterlock sole. Navy flat waxed laces. These are Barrie lasted. I wore them maybe a dozen times over the years, if that. I lost the original box, but a damaged Alden box will be provided (see last pic). In pretty good shape. Looks like I stepped in gum maybe, in the right shoe on the heel.

ALDEN - Made in USA Spectacular Men's Whiskey Brown and Blue Suede Saddle Oxford Lace-Up Shoes.  Not your typical bucks or brogues! Size 11.5 B/D ( medium / standard ).  Very, very nice condition - worn sparingly and with care on special occasions. Still in original box. If you know Alden shoes and are fortunate enough to have worn them, well...then you know. They are the best. Allen Edmonds, Cole Haan, Ralph Lauren and all the rest...if you feel best in a classic American bench-made shoe that stands out from the rest, it's Alden.   I think we paid lots of money for these...on Holiday. From the famous Alden retailer Leather Soul in Honolulu. My husband has never seen another pair, so he suspects they were a custom short run order which Alden does for its best retail customers.  We are antiques dealers in the Virginia Piedmont - Charlottesville and environs. Beautiful Alden saddle shoes in Chestnut and Navy Suede Leather. Purchased by me from Leather Soul Hawaii. These are built on the Barrie last, which fits 1/2 larger than most lasts. I wear an 11 1/2 in Barrie, TruBalance and Van lasts. A 12 in Plaza, Aberdeen and Leydon lasts. The sole is an oiled flex welt - very comfortable. Excellent condition with some gentle use. I love Alden shoes and need to make room for more. Comes with box and shoe covers. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. I ship international using EBay's Global shipping program. Ask any questions.
