Please note, these shoes are factory seconds. The defect has been repaired by Alden with a cordovan tab stitched over the cordovan back stay at the back of both shoes . There is also black dye on the grain leather at the outside side of the left heel - this is very hard to notice unless looking closely at the proper angle. Despite being worn only a few times, both shoes shows surface scuffing at the inside heel area. Right toe shows surface scuffing. The footbeds are in excellent condition with nearly no impressioning. The original leather soles are in excellent condition with light surface wear only, original heels are in excellent condition with slight edge to the rubber part of the toplift. Alden model number 9942: #8 Shell and Brown Alpine Grain Saddle Shoes. Shoe Mart Bootmaker edition. US 11 D. Barrie last. Love them but just too big for my very narrow feet. Well worn with some discoloration etc. They could use some tlc as I am guessing their previous owner didn’t give them the attention they deserve. I personally use saphir products - but any good cleaner, wax, etc with some brushing will do wonders for these. Asking $199 obo includes shipping CONUS. Trees not included.
