These shoes show creasing at the vamps and scuffing at the toe of the right toe. There are scuff marks at the back heel area of both shoes. There is some surface dye color variation that is visible when closely inspecting the shoes - not abormal for Alden shoes and a result of their manufacturing process. The footbeds are in excellent condition with nearly no impressioning. The original soles are very firm to the press and in very good condition. The heels show light edge wear only to the rubber part of the toplift. The footbeds are in good condition and are have only a light foot impression from previous use. The original soles are in good condition with about 75% of their original life remaining. The heels show very light edge wear only to the rubber part of the toplift. The binding leather around the foot opening has some surface wear.
