Alden D2121 Navy Suede Tassel Loafer

New in box Alden tassel loafers in navy suede, size 9.5 D on the Copley last on oiled single leather soles and antique sole edges.  The front toe box is unlined.   This pair has been briefly tried on indoors.  Selling because I purchased a pair of unlined navy suede Carmina string loafers around the same time as this pair, am electing the keep the Carmina, and this pair has exceeded the Alden retailer's eligible return window.   Despite being factory firsts quality, there quite a few imperfections I observed: (1)  The vamp area above the instep does not have symmetrical leather-clicking between the left shoe's vamp and right shoe's vamp.   (2)  There's a couple dark blotches on the interior glove leather lining.  See photos 11 and 12.  The only dark brown coloring on this pair is the antique brown edge, and I presume this is carelessness by the finisher who had some antique brown wax on his/her gloves when  picking the pair up after finishing the sole edge coloring.   (3)  A small plasticky square shape just before one of the perforations on the side of the shoe, through which the tassel's string slots.  This square is dyed blue, but can look grey/white depending on light reflection.  I angled it at its highest-contrast white, when taking that photo.   (4)  Ripples along the binding around the shoe's throat.   Ships with the green Alden box originally mated to this pair, plastic sleeves, and cloth shoe bags.
