While suede is made from the softer underside of the hide, nubuck is made from the hide’s tougher exterior side, which is thicker and has a more robust feel. While both leathers have a nap, nubuck’s nap is considerably shorter in length. This leather will develop a beautiful patina with wear, telling your unique story with each scuff, scar and conditioning. This sleek Blucher is crafted on the popular Barrie last with a classic leather outsole, tonal stitching and laces which provide an extremely wearable, high-patina shoe with monochromatic subtlety. Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build.
