Alden D2930H Color 8 Shell Cordovan NST Tanker Boot

Alden from Leffot Shell Cordovan Color 8 NST "Tanker" boots. Size 11.5 D.   D2930 H, built on the Barrie last.  A lovely pair of Alden handsewn NST Tankers in a very nice configuration--270 storm welt, neocork soles and Thomas heels.  Tonal eyelets and speed hooks. You seldom see 270 and neocork on Tankers, it gives a very sleek look on the Barrie. Leffot did a great job on this make-up.  There is some toe drag and quite slight wear on the heels, but nothing else worthy of mention.  The shell is excellent and the neocork should last a long long time.  Handsewn Aldens are getting harder to find with long delivery times to dealers.   Boots come with box, bags, tissue, round and flat laces etc.  Current retail price for hand sewn shell boots is now topping $1050.00.  I don't think there would be any disappointment with these, and at a great price.
