Alden leisure handsewn penny loafers in fully lined chromexcel, on the Copley last. Size 9 D. Waterlock (oiled) flex leather sole. This pair was purchased from TSM as factory seconds in April 2026, and worn less than 5 times total. Selling due to my sizing error. Compared to Aberdeen, Copley offers greater width across the ball and higher instep. However, not to a sufficient degree that I can comfortably go down a half size from Brannock (I'm 9.5 US Brannock). The handwritten text on the interior lining indicates this pair was produced in December 2025. With Alden ramping down production of the leisure handsewn pattern, this may be one of the final pairs of a Copley last penny loafers produced with those sumptuous American pie crust ridges adorning the top of the vamp. Manufacturing defects on this pair:
(1) On front tip of the left shoe, one of the thread stitches on the welt is frayed. Photo 12
(2) On the interior of the right shoe, there are a small handful of unfinished (uncut) threads dangling from the left side of the interior (in the area left of your right foot's instep) near where the penny strap meets the side wall.
