Alden Perforated tip boot in Ravello shell cordovan. 9.5 D - Barrie last - 360 Pre-stitch reverse welt - 9 matching eyelets - Split Commando Outsole These were made for John Helmer in Portland Oregon. There were only 12 made and they are absolutely beautiful boots. John Helmer quickly sold out and I was lucky enough to buy some before they were all gone. I paid $1095.00 I purchased these mid October 2023, wore them until mid November 2023, before purchasing a replacement pair in a half size smaller. This was my first pair of Alden’s I purchased, so I was unsure about sizing and how they should fit (I’m 11.5 on the brannock device). After wearing them for about month and trying on a half size smaller, I decided 9Ds fit me better. So now these are up for sale. One issue that needs to pointed out is, one of the eyelets started to pull out a bit. I sent them back to Alden, and they repaired the eyelet. The eyelet mentioned is pictured in the second to last photo (the photo that is zoomed in on the eyelet). Please message with any questions. These are very rare beautiful boots. I’m tempted to just keep them as backups to my size 9s, because I’ll probably never find them in these specs again.
