J. Crew x Alden Snuff Suede Longwing Wingtip Brass Eyelets 10.5D. You know what these are, classic Alden shoes, Snuff suede, brass eyelets, 10.5D, Barrie Last. Waterlock leather soles. These were originally purchased new from J. Crew, a few years later I had them restored by Alden. Immediately after restoration, flush mount toe-taps were installed by B. Nelson/VIP Shoes in New York City. I wore them a few times after the restoration, they have a lot of life left. No original box, no original laces (sorry!). Shoe trees NOT included. You’ll get them in a suitable box without laces (unless you really want the pictured laces, let me know and they’re yours!) I always used a shoehorn when putting them on, and they were always stored using cedar shoe-trees (again, not included). They are in excellent condition and they are coming from a pet-free and smoke-free home. Do your research on sizing. 10.5D Barrie Last. ALDEN brown ”dirty buck” suede wingtip brogues size 9 B/D (basically medium) The measurement I took was across the widest part of sole which measures 4 3/8 inches. Please know your size and make sure these fit you prior to bidding. No returns. Beautiful, excellent used shoes with some heel wear. The rubber piece of heel is designed to be replaced. A competent shoe repair shop can easily do this. Replace the heel insert piece and they will be like new. These are suede. I do not own a suede brush. I tried to gently brush them but even with that photos make them look weird, stained etc. I took a few shots and ran my finger around suede to show you dark and light areas are from being rubbed one way or the other and are not stains.
