This is a lovely pair of snuff suede wing tips made for Alden of Carmel. They are size 8 D on the Tremont last, which fits those with who normally wear size 8.5 D in dress shoes. I would say they would also fit those with 8.5 E feet well also. Made in the USA by Alden. Features include: handsome snuff suede leather, double oiled 'waterloc' outsoles, and antique welt and edge stain. They work well as semi-formal office shoes or casual shoes that look great with jeans. I purchased them on sale for $345, but note that they originally sold for over $500. I like these shoes a lot but I need to part with them to make room for a new pair of boots I have my eye on. I cared for these shoes by regularly brushing them with a suede comb, wiping them clean after most wears, and storing them with shoe trees. The shoe box and bags will be included, but shoe trees will not in order to cut down on shipping costs. Please examine the photographs closely before making a bid. In particular, there is minor but noticeable creasing and fading on the toe vamp that is normal for previously worn suede shoes. These signs of wear are manageable with regular brushing.
