New in box Alden black Shell cordovan chukka boots 10 D

These are a pair of black shell cordovan chukkas Alden made up for Unionmade. They've got a few unique features like the commando sole and metal eyelets that you don't find on the standard chukkas. They're a size 9 but the Barrie last runs large so they fit more like a 10, which is what I measure on the Brannock. I've had them for a few years but really haven't worn them that much. The soles still have tons of life left in them. I've always kept them in shoes trees, which aren't included in the sale but I do have the shoe bags.

Marked Size: 12D Condition Grade: 6 Model: D6710C Last: Barrie Measurements: 13 3/4” by 4 7/8” Notes: Shell cordovan uppers in good condition with no rips or tears. There is some surface scuffing around the heels and toes on the inside side of both boots. The edge of the sole has a dull finish and needs to be edge dressed to bring up its shine. The boots formerly had an otheropedic insert inside the shoes so there is an impression on the heel pad inside both boots. The stitching on the soles that secures the commando sole in place is worn through at the toes and at the sides of the sole, and I would recommend that the purchaser have those sections of the soles professionaly glued/cemented in place. Both rubber heels are showing edge wear. Please note that shoe trees, shoe bags, shoe boxes, and other accessories are not included unless otherwise stated.
