Alden of New England Shell Cordovan wingtip boots (style D6844C) in Color8 (dark burgundy) from Alden of San Francisco. Size 11.5 E width (slightly wide). Commando rubber lug soles. These are in like new condition, only worn a couple of times (see photos). Alden Barrie last runs a bit roomy. Retail is $1,042. NO international shipping. This is a beautiful, classy pair of Alden wingtip brogue boots in shell cordovan leather in excellent used condition. These boots feature a 360º Goodyear welt, a leather over cork insole and combination leather and min-lug rubber soles to prevent slippage.  The leather is fully leather-lined, befitting high quality boots that can handle the elements. These are $900 or more boots in fatnastic condition. Shell cordovan is so strong and durable that it used to be used for making strops, the things barbers used to sharpen their razor blades. Shell cordovan is membrane pulled from a horse's hindquarters and is extremely smooth in appearance, making for high quality footwear that looks great even when mistreated; it is the higher quality version of "horserump" that is occasionally used for making boots. I think these are beautiful boots and I bought them as a gift for my future self. Unfortunately, since buying them, I've realized that there is no way I can squeeze my 9EE feet into this 8.5D boot. I also have the original box - which is good since I can't seem to get a picture of the size as shown on the boot.  I have tried to photograph these from all reasonable perspectives. There are no known nicks or scratches but because these are pre-owned you should expect some - do closely examine each of the photos.  These have been stored in a smoke-free home. Size 8.5 B/D Alden Wingtip Boots, made for The San Francisco Alden Shop.  These boots probably have less than 10 days of use on them and are LIKE NEW (but you save $200!). Shoe trees and Alden bags included. The rubber sole makes these an incredible do-everything /all-season boot. Selling because they aren't getting the love they deserve. Will only get better with age. Don't worry about the cordovan being shaped to someone else's foot, you can break these in on your own! Alden Color8 Shell Cordovan Boots Barrie Last Size 7D. Condition is "Pre-owned". I’ve worn these less than 5 times. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. These started as burgundy but I sun faded them and they quite a bit and are much lighter now. They look quite amazing .
