Alden D6867HC Earth Reverse Chamois Cap Toe Boot

Alden Cap Toe Boots, US size 9.5D. Earth Reverse Chamois uppers. Commando sole. Barrie Last. Model D6867HC.  Made in the USA. Rare makeup from Tanner Goods.  Has a flat welt, which is rarely seen on Alden boots, and gives a sleek look to the Barrie silhouette. The Earth color is a very dark brown that almost looks black.  It has a waxy finish that reflects more in the photos than it does in person. Does not include original box or dust bags.

Up for sale are a lightly-worn pair of Alden x Tanner Goods Roughout Leather Boots. These boots are made in a rough out "Earth" chamois - a really beautiful super dark brown that almost looks black built on a Barrie last (the Barrie last runs a 1/2 size large, so these 9.5D Aldens will fit someone with a true 10D measuring on a Brannock measuring device). These were a collaboration from 2018 that were released as a limited run - currently no longer available.  These are boots that can be easily dressed up or worn casually; the upper leather is bomb-proof and rain-proof. The last is slightly narrowed at the toe so that these boots can easily be worn with dress trousers or a suit. The soles of the boots are Goodyear welted with Alden's commando soles. Cap toes finish these boots off.  Really beautiful boots, but I find that I wear my loafers so much more often now that I live back in the Southeast.
