An ideal boot for Autumn and Winter. The Barrie last is known to fit 1/2 size bigger, and it's usually recommended to size down. The Barrie last is rounded and full in the toe, making a perfect choice for medium/wide feet. The Alden code for this model is D7833 HC. A pair of Alden New England round toe plain lace boots in color Number 8 shell cordovan, made on Alden's Barrie last with Alden rubber Commando outsoles on over leather. US size is 8 B / D width (medium) and combination laces, (5) metal eyelets and (4) matching metal speed laces. This boots were purchased from Brick + Mortar in Seattle. Their website shows this exact model which currently retails for $820.00, not including tax and any shipping. These boots fit exactly true to size for Aldens. I've listed the European size as 41, but please confirm your fit. Features include a full 360 degree Goodyear welt in addition to Alden's extensive detailing and high quality construction throughout. Alden uses only premium quality genuine Horween shell cordovan horsehide by the Horween Leather Company, Chicago. The shell cordovan is intact throughout - No significant creasing, scratches, blemishes and no signs of cracking or breakdown. With the exception of a small section on the right sole (see photos) all stitching and seams are solid and fully intact as well. There is also minor scratching on one of the speed hooks (see photos). These shoes are used and show normal signs of wear. Please note the soles are original, making these boots eligible for complete restoration by Alden. *Outsole length is 12 1/8' *Insole length is 10 3/4' *Outsole width at the ball of the foot is 4 3/8' Shoe trees shown in the photos are not included. Up for sale is a beautiful pair of Alden color 8 plain toe boots in cordovan leather. They are a size 8D on the Barrie Last, purchased less than a year ago from Yenni Song at Brick+Mortar Seattle. The boots have been worn sporadically, and are in wonderful condition. There are faint marks on the inside of the heel of each shoe, but this will come out with rubbing. The stitching of the shoes are intact, except for one spot on the commando sole as shown in the picture. This does not affect the shoe itself though. These shoes from Brick+Mortar, with their commando sole, are not as stiff as your typical Alden cordovan shoe, making them extremely comfortable to wear. I am selling these because they are just slightly too small unfortunately. Shoetrees not included.
