Alden D8852HC Color 8 Shell Cordovan Cap Toe Boot

Alden D8852HC Burgundy Shell Cordovan Cap Toe Boots 9D.  Worn 1 x.  Super nice boots.

I am selling this pair of Alden cap toe boots at a low opening bid and no reserve. They are ”color 8” shell cordovan with the commando sole. I have owned them for a couple of years and rarely wore them (I should have gone down a half size). The auction includes everything pictured above - cloth bags, polishing cloths, extra laces, color 8 polish, and (non-Alden) cedar shoe trees. They are in excellent condition with just some light scuffs that can be seen in the pic's. The left toe cap has a small scuff that is shown in the last picture. I tried to get a good shot of this and have shown it with glare that makes it look worse than it is. Any questions? Feel free to let me know. Special makeup from Alden of Carmel (AOC-106). This boot is on the Barrie last and is size 10D (usually go down .5 a size from your Brannock size). For reference, I am a 10.5D on the 65 last from Allen Edmonds. These boots were purchased on September 2019 and have less than 20 wears on them. If you know shell cordovan, you know this type of material will last decades if properly taken care of plus these boots are goodyear welt, which means they can be resoled over and over. This size is not available/sold out on the alden of carmel website and no plans to do a preorder. So, if these boots are your size, you have a great chance to get them now. These boots live with a boot tree inserted when not worn. I brush them periodically with a horsehair brush. The shoe trees will be included if purchased at the asking price ONLY.
