Alden G4902HC Earth Reverse Chamois Indy Boot

Selling my Alden “Silksport” Indy Boots. These are a limited release from Shop Lost Found in Toronto. The leather is a dark petrol blue/green. I’ve recently had the shoes resoled by Alden, and also had the tongue professionally stitched to the upper by John Rushden shoes. I’m only selling them as my foot has grown during the pandemic. They are Alden Trubalance size 9.5, which roughly equates to a UK 9.5 or 9 or a US 10.5 or 10. Essentially the Trubalance runs 0.5 to 1 size large depending on foot shape. At the heart of the collaboration model, the ”Silksport” full calf suede, tanned navy in the UK, which has been used in the reverse, revealing a soft, smooth calfskin. Generally, this leather is considered too thick to use as is, with most makers slicing it down into multiple layers. However, Alden, sticklers for quality as always, keep the thick top skin and remove only the second grade leather beneath. shaped over a Trubalance last, finished with an all-black Commando sole and midsole to compliment the hide's rugged feel, this unique Indy boot breathes new life into this iconic style.
