For sale is a pair of rare Alden Cape Cod H495 Cognac Calfskin Full Strap Loafers in size 9.5 E. Made in USA. These have been resoled by a previous owner and also had new heels added. The soles have wear but are firm to the touch and have a lot of life left. The uppers have been cleaned and conditioned with luxurious Saphir brand shoe products. The insides are clean as shown in the photos. I bought these for myself on eBay but as they’re an E width they’re too wide for me. I’m a 9.5 D in almost all loafer brands. Sold as is, no refunds or exchanges. Thank you.

Classic Alden penny loafers. Full strap in burnished tan leather.   They are worn. Both have had the front half of the soles replaced and are probably due for another replacement soon. The heels have also been repaired and rubberized. See photos. These are from the same estate as the vintage Foot Joy golf shoes and all the shell cordovan dress shoes. I was considering sending them to Alden to be restored at the factory, but this costs more than it used to ($220 in 2025) so I am leaving it up to the buyer to decide. They do seem worth the effort to me, as this is a $700 pair of shoes today.
