From the original listing: Alden makes shoes in the USA and the cheapest new ones are $670, because of their New England reputation for quality and style and American craftmanship. I bought these new from G.B. Harb & Sons in Beverly Hills in the early to mid 2000s and have probably worn them a half dozen times. They are in excellent condition. They are 10D and they fit snug, but very comfortable. I’m more a 10.5/11. These are handsewn. The quality is ridiculous and they can be resoled. I’ve never even had to polish them.
