These shoes show creasing at the vamps and and light surface marks at the sides of the shoes near the lacing. Back heel area shows a small number of faint marks. The footbeds are in excellent condition with nearly no impressioning. The lining has some color transfer. The original vibram outsoles are in fair condition with surface wear present to the center of both soles. More wear is present to the left sole. Alden Cape Cod Collection H944 Moc toe men’s shoes. The Alden Shoe Co. was founded in Middleborough, Mass. in 1884. They have been making highest quality handmade shoes ever since. Alden may be considered America’s last heritage, family owned shoe manufacturer. The Cape Cod Collection was Alden’s effort at a slightly lower price point shoe. But the shoes are still Alden and are still a first rate shoe. These moccasins’ uppers are in outstanding condition. The inner lining shows almost no wear. The exterior leather is in great shape other than the typical creasing. The original Vibram Gumlite soles are worn but they don’t need resoling yet. Size 8.5E Pictures are the best indicator of condition. Shoe trees not included.
