Alden M1814HC Color 8 Shell Cordovan Wing Tip Boot

Hi guys, I have a pair of Alden Shell Cordovan colour 8 boots in Men’s 9.5US or 9.5C/E (Alden wide E width at the forefoot, and C width at the heel). Built on the famous Barrie Last so it’s very forgiving and comfortable and fits 1/2 size big so would fit someone with a size 9.5-10US boot size. A tad too big for me so I never wore them. I could’ve added inserts or thicker socks to make it work but never did. Hoping to move them on. Tried on in my living room only. Factory seconds from Alden (from The Shoe Mart) purchased last year and has sat in the box. Can’t find any issues with it but perhaps with the printed “Alden” logo inside the leather insert at the heel is not crisp. Commando soles for great grip and hard wearing so you can expect it to last a long time before a re-sole is needed. Beautiful boot that will last a lifetime. Good year welted and the Cadillac of leather: shell cordovan! Comes with white Alden box. Pick up locally in Toronto available. Worn Once! Alden Color 8 Shell Cordovan Wingtip Boots - Barrie Last - US 9.5 E. Lugged Alden soles. MSRP: $855. Style: FD-M1814HC These were purchased from The Shoe Mart about a year ago. I wore them just once - and walked about one mile in total (back and forth to my office in New York). They just don’t fit properly, so selling them here. In mint condition. Please note that these are considered “seconds” by Alden - probably because of the staining on the inside of the tongue of the right boot. As is usual with Alden 2nds, you can’t tell the difference from a first or second shoe (from the outside). This will ship with original packaging and original box.
