Leather soles and calf lining with custom Topy sole protectors and red laces by Benjos. (I almost always change the stock laces for a pop of bright color.) The condition is excellent, because I've only worn these about 2 dozen times as you can easily tell from the pics. There are a few very minor normal scuffs that can easily polish / buff away, but I wanted to photograph these as-is so that you'll know exactly what you're getting. (I'm a high dollar shoe addict, and I cannot count the many times I've bought nice shoes on eBay only to discover that the seller has intentionally or unintentionally hidden any flaws, so I always photograph any shoes that I sell without polish or any other kind of concealing wax.) Auction is for a pair of pre-owned/gently used men's Alden chukka boots in brown calfskin leather. Size is US 10.5D and these are made on the Barrie Last. This was a special make-up/collaboration for Frans Boone Shop in the Netherlands. Features include brass eyelets, double oak soles and antiqued 360 storm welt. As with all my leather-soled shoes, I had my local old-school shoe cobbler add thin ”Topy” rubber sole guards before ever wearing them. Topy sole guards never wear out, never peel off unless the cobbler takes them off and they don't change the appearance of the shoe at all. They also give the shoe a good bit of traction. I wore these boots 3 or 4 times max in rotation with nearly a dozen other pairs of boots. I am the original owner and purchased these directly from Frans Boone. Easily a 9.5 out of 10 condition-wise; no damage/no nicks. The gold ”Alden” stamp is still 100% present on the insoles.
