Alden M5902HC Tobacco Reverse Chamois Indy Boot

So...early on, I sported these "Okanagan" Indy Boots whilst out on a motorcycle ride; and of course was caught in a deluge (rain, road splash...the whole nine yards). After drying and brushing them appropriately, I researched some weather-proofing products and tried them accordingly. Not such a good idea after all, (see the pics). I took the pictures in direct sunlight for the full visual effect of the weatherproofing product(s). Not nearly as visible in room light. The boots are functional; very clean interior, but not 'going out to dinner' appropriate. The motorcycle got sold, along with the jacket...and now these boots just sit in the Alden collection...collecting dust. Why not give them another life in some else's hands [feet]...one who can appreciate a well made pair of USA made Alden's...as a very reasonable opening bid. Thanks for checking them out.
